Is your second toe being bigger than your first indicative of something? I was watching TV today and my dad grabbed my feet and said, "You have character!" My mom says "I thought that's supposed to mean she's a vamprie or something." Now, I can see where she gets that (I have an uncanny interest in fantasy, particularly vampires), but I went on my trusty Google and there were no mention of anything of the sort. I did learn it's called Morton's Toe though. Like the salt girl!

Anyway. Limewire is being a jerk and won't open >:[ I've got like 20 million songs I want to download, but the damn thing pwns my ass.

I don't want to finish The World is Flat :( But when I showed Coach Young Bennett I was reading it, he was all "Eh, it's pretty high brow; I'm not sure you could finish it." So, of course, now I have to finish it. But I went ahead and started another book. Plus, Mrs. Williams gave me a couple recommendations for authors I should read. So this is my list:

1. Mammoth Hunters - Jean Auel
2. The Hobbit - J.R.R. Tolkien
3. Dracula - Bram Stoker
4. ______ - Francine Rivers (recommended by Mrs. Williams)

So...I've got my hands full. If only Limewire would LOAD.

This is an actual true story.

As I was waiting for my computer to load, I got bored and started playing with things on our desk, one of which was a stapler (everyone who knows me has slapped their forehead by now). I took a staple out and started nibbling on it a bit, poking it between my front two teeth. Now, don't ask me how this happened, but somehow I managed to hook one end of the staple between my front two teeth, and the other end of the staple was hooked between my bottom two teeth, so I couldn't open my mouth more than half an inch or so. To make things worse, it was on the inside of my teeth, so I couldn't pull it out.

After twisting my jaws back and forth, trying to wedge a pen between my teeth, and curling my tongue around the small obstruction for about 10 minutes or so, I finally come up with the idea to get another staple, hook it around the original, and wiggle it out. Lo and behold, out comes the little metal fiend. And so ends the weirdest predicament Bunchan has ever had.

No, I was not as panicked as this picture will lead you to believe. I should have gotten a close-up on the teeth, but...whatever.

I haven't been in school the entire week, because of all this annoying, slick, incredibly fun ice. At least the storm this Saturday is just warm, wet, snow. Not near as bad as the stuff we had.

The whole household loaded up the car today and traveled to OKC today so Dad could drop some stuff off for work and Mom and I could allieviate our cabin fever. It wasn't any fun, but it was mildly refreshing and I got to eat some over-priced-obviously-Caucasian-cooked Mexican food.

I went and slid around on the pond for a while. I only slipped twice, so I'm very proud of myself. But...Dad says if I want to go out there again, I have to bring him and a 10 foot rope to wind around my arm a thousand times or so. Sigh.

I'm ready for school again! ...Well, ready to get out of the house again, anyway.

I had a very strange dream last night o_O Well...in real life last Wednesday, Kelsie played My Immortal by Evanescence on the piano. Okay. So, in my dream, I was trying to figure out how to play it on piano. This 8 year old kid appeared out of nowhere and says "Play this one and this one and this one." So I did, and it sounded right. I was all "Hey, that was cool! Teach me more!" But he says something like "...Are you kidding? I'm too good to teach you" or something like that...I can't remember. Whatever he said, he was really snobby.

So then we go into the auditorium where we're watching a high school band play (not ours D: ). The band is suddenly freaking out because something happened to their piano player, so they're all "Scotty! Scotty! WE NEED YOU!" Lo and behold, the snobby kid gets up from the row in front of me and heads to the stage. I'm all "WTF ARE YOU DOING?!?!" He's all calm and shouts "PLAYING PIANO FOR THE BAND, RETARD."

Then...I guess there was a time warp or something, because the kid suddenly disappeared and, once again, they were looking for a piano player. I was all "I'll do it!" so I run up the stage to the piano. Just as I'm about to play, I notice my dad mouthing "Go to the other one!" Suddenly I remember that there's two pianos on the stage, one for guests and, the one I'm on, one for the band to use. So I run down the stairs and all the way across the floor to the other piano, but by the time I get there, the program's over (Long stage...?). Anyways, I'm about to turn around and leave, but suddenly, I realize someone is playing My Immortal! I run up the stairs screaming "WHO'S PLAYING THAT?!?! KEEP PLAYING!!!!" I finally get there and find...Julie! But...she's only playing with one hand? I ask her about it, and she takes off her hand. I realize they're playing it on the sound system. DAMMIT!

There's more, but this is long and boring enough already. And HA! I'm wearing my favorite color combo: a red shirt, and a purple blankie :D

So, we got hit with an ice storm today :/ Everyone was getting checked out of school in DROVES. Literally every other minute, they'd come over the intercom and call 10 more names out of class. By the end of the day, there were maybe 50 kids in the whole high school. It was insane.

And, of course, as soon as I got home, I had to go outside to help Dad bring in firewood and whatnot. We had to bring the giant logs back with the tractor, he split them, I loaded them into the Gator, and unloaded them into the garage. To turn on the splitter, you have to pull a rope thing several times. Well, when he turned it on...the rope came out. We can never start it ever again. Which meant we had to split ALL the wood today. I was out there for a few more hours than I bargained for, while getting stung in the face by thousands of tiny ice-needles. But, whatever.

Ice blows.

At least I don't have school Monday! Gives me time to work on the 1987329847 things I have due for school. I have to memorize this uber-long soliliquy (sp?) by Juliet from Shakespeare. I have about half memorized. I have to recite it in front of the class Wednesday, and actually animate it. Gyah x.o;

...I have the sudden urge to ride on an airplane.
How odd.

So...trying to get used to LJ. Most of the time I use my journal on deviantart, and even then I'm not much of a diaryist. But, since I was one of the last people to join Xanga and Myspace, I figured I'd beat everyone to the punch this time. Well, the people at my school anyway.

Do people make layouts for LJ like they do for myspace and whatnot? Whatever, I'll look for some later. HAPPY BIRTHDAY PALM! I need to write your letter :0 I'll do it after I post this thing probably.

...Well wasn't that an interesting first entry.
